Depending on the quality of fabric used a kitchen valance can therefore be bought relatively cheaply ready-made from a curtain supplier or can be custom made to the color and style that will suit your personal taste.
It is important to have the right color and fabric for a valance to hang in a trendy kitchen. To help make the right choice of color, it is important to take with you a small sample of the paint color used on your kitchen walls and if possible a sample of your bench top color. By taking the actual color of items, you will not have the problem of trying to remember or guess what color green the bench top is or how pale grey the walls are when looking through fabrics at your curtain supplier.
